Questions for The Wedding Ministers
What should we look for in a wedding minister?
Amazingly, anyone can get licensed on the internet and start performing wedding ceremonies within a few days!  So it's important you find someone who has experience and is backed by a local church or ministry.  But don't forget...it is important that you find a minister that you can relate to, that you feel comfortable with, and that seems genuinely interested in you as a person.  Find the right minister for your special day!

Are your ministers recognized by the State of Texas and the I.R.S. as legally able to perform a wedding ceremony?
Yes.  We do not associate with "internet-ordained" ministers.

What qualifications do you have?
We are all ministers who are ordained or licensed by thriving churches.  We each have personal experience working with single adults, engaged couples, and married adults.  Our focus is on building strong relationships for a lifetime together.

How do we schedule you to perform our wedding ceremony?
We would be honored to be part of your special day.  To schedule your wedding, go to Book My Wedding or call (888) 933-9001.  After checking our calendar, we will respond to you quickly.  Also, in fairness to other brides and grooms, wedding dates are only reserved with a deposit--we cannot hold a date without a deposit. So once you hear back from us, please be prepared to reserve your date.

Can we meet you before scheduling our wedding with you?
A getting-to-know-you phone conversation is free with the Economical Package, and a face-to-face meeting is free with most other packages.

What will the minister wear to perform our ceremony?
We wear a dark suit with a white business shirt and a dark tie, helping keep the focus on the bride and groom.  If you prefer that we wear more formal or less formal attire, simply let us know in advance.

How long will the ceremony last?
Our portion of the ceremony will last 25 minutes.  The length of the ceremony will depend on your desire to have Scripture readings, songs, unity candle, etc.

Can we write our vows?
Absolutely.  Just let us know in advance.

What are our options for the wedding rehearsal?
Most rehearsals are led by the wedding venue staff or a wedding coordinator without the Officiant present.  If requested, your Officiant will arrive 60 minutes before the ceremony for a walk-thru rehearsal (at no additional charge.)  To have your Officiant attend or lead a rehearsal on a day before the ceremony will incur an additional fee of $100.

What is the outline of the wedding ceremonies you perform?
Each wedding ceremony is unique, reflecting the desires of the bride and groom.  However, you'll find a sample document by clicking on "Downloads" at the top of this page.  This will give you a general idea of a typical wedding ceremony.
